Ziba Heydarian completed her Juris Doctor at Osgoode Hall Law School and holds an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto in Human Biology and Ethics, Society & Law, graduating with high distinction.

Prior to founding Heydarian Law, Ziba clerked for the Federal Court of Canada — an experience that gave her a sharp understanding of judicial decision-making and refined her ability to advocate effectively in court. She also received extensive litigation training at one of Ontario's leading personal injury firms before heading the litigation department at a mid-size Ottawa firm.

At Heydarian Law, Ziba's practice spans civil & commercial litigation, real estate law, corporate law, and wills & estates. Her experience across a wide range of legal matters — from estates disputes to trademark infringement — has made her an adept problem-solver and skilled negotiator who anticipates issues before they arise.

Ziba is a board member of the Iranian Canadian Legal Professionals (ICLP) organization and a member of the Advocates Society, the Canadian Bar Association, Legal Shield, and the Law Society of Canada's Referral System. In her personal time she enjoys tennis, yoga, and exploring the world.

Sammi Nguyen brings over 25 years of experience as a Senior Law Clerk to the Heydarian Law team. Her extensive background spans real estate transactions, wills and estates, corporate law, and litigation support — making her an indispensable resource for clients and colleagues alike.

Over the course of her career, Sammi has managed hundreds of real estate closings across Ontario, developed deep expertise in estate administration, and provided critical support across a wide range of corporate and commercial matters. Her meticulous attention to detail and thorough knowledge of legal procedures ensure that every file is handled with precision and care.
